Update on Recent Events

Good afternoon.

In recent times, our officers on Heston West have been hard at work tackling various issues that have appeared on our ward.

Towards the end of august, an address in Heston had a warrant enacted at the address where several animals were seized that were being bred in awful conditions and without a licence to do so. The animals, predominantly kittens, were taken by the RSPCA to hopefully find better homes.

Over the past two days, our officers have also conducted arrests in relation to domestic abuse and for another individual failing to appear in relation to weapons offences. Both have since had their day in court.

One of our most prolific and violent shoplifters on the ward has also been remanded into custody and will soon appear in both crown and magistrates court for a variety of offences over the past few months. This was made possible through partnership with officers from surrounding wards also struck by this individual as well as with members of the community who had come into contact with him.

We are also conducting various other actions we cannot talk about right yet, but hopefully we will have some exciting results to share in the near future.

We will also be holding various community event in September, so watch out for updates regarding these as well.
